Security

Open Hosting takes extraordinary measures to provide customers with security when using our cloud. Moving to the cloud shouldn’t mean reducing the level of security for your computing needs. Open Hosting works hard to provide customers best-practice security in a multi-dimensional way. Click here to learn more about OHI’s cloud computing features.

Key Security Features:

‘Data at Rest’ is Encrypted

All user virtual drives may be encrypted as a user option. When a customer deletes a drive on the OHI cloud, you can feel confident that any potentially usable data stored on that drive will never become accessible to anyone else.

Customer Separation

All OHI cloud servers are separated at the hypervisor level. Network traffic is isolated; individual users can only see their own network traffic.

Strict Authentication

Access to the OHI cloud is via secure 128bit-SSL, regardless of whether this is via our website console or our API. Every account action requires individual authentication via the API or website console.
